Formerly a Daily Mail journalist for nine years, Charlotte became a freelance writer, editor and reporter in January 2011. She specialises in crime, human interest stories and interviews.

Charlotte started out in journalism in 1999 as a features writer at South West News Service in Bristol, one of the UK’s leading press agencies. She joined the Daily Mail in 2002 as a news reporter before being appointed crime correspondent in 2007.

Charlotte lives in South East London with her husband and two children.
